This painting titled Behold The Lamb, carries so much meaning. The beautiful thing about art is that anyone can interpret any painting in any way. But for me, this piece almost has a double meaning. Normally, we see Jesus Christ as the Lamb. However, in this painting, He is showing a few children a lamb that might have been lost. I think the piece symbolizes loving and honoring Christ, yet also cherishing our fellow men, especially those who might be different than us, or have gone astray.
